Fanny Fynebuik Fanny Fynebuik

Fanny Fynebuik was born in Holland and is a graduate of the Dutch College of Arts in Groningen, Holland.  She moved to Canada in 1957, where she settled in Alberta.

Fanny studied at the Alberta College of Art and is the recipient of several awards for her participation, commitment and excellence achieved through the many oil and watercolour workshops and seminars she has attended. She is also an active member of the Calgary Sketch Club and the Federation of Canadian Artists.

Although Fanny has an established studio, the majority of her work is done on location, primarily in Alberta and on the west coast. In an age of mass-media imagery that means to frighten and persuade, Fanny's oils and watercolours temper the soul. Her paintings express the tranquillity of nature without cynicism or apology.

Fanny's work is a part of numerous private and corporate collections in Canada, the United States and Europe.
